Jake Santangelo is a businessman, SAG-AFTRA Actor, and licensed attorney who graduated from Columbia Law School as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. As the Founder & CEO of The Basic Software Company, he has programmed algorithms and sold apps that have made it into the Top 10 Business Apps and the Top 20 Education Apps on the App Store.
During the Flint Water Crisis, he also developed SafeWater Flint, an app that helped people find clean water at the height of the Flint Water Crisis. He was awarded a Character Award from the West Michigan Character Council for this work.
Jake was a White House Intern during the Obama Administration. He graduated from Michigan State University with High Honors from the Honors College in 2014, and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School. He cofounded Columbia University for Biden during the 2020 election and did volunteer activities for the campaign.
Jake seeks to live a life that inspires and empowers others to accomplish more with theirs.
